Pints For the people

For this project, we were challenged to create a disruptive campaign for Ben & Jerry’s rooted in their core values of activism, equity, and bold creativity. Our concept, "Pints for the People," introduces a line of medicated ice creams that directly address cannabis incarceration reform.

Packaging Redesign

I reimagined Ben & Jerry’s packaging to introduce a medicated ice cream line that stays true to the brand’s playful aesthetic while highlighting a serious issue. The design features bold typography, cannabis-inspired visuals.

The story behind the scoop

I redesigned the back of the pint to feature real stories of people currently incarcerated for cannabis charges, using bold speech bubbles, and branded typography. The goal was to balance Ben & Jerry’s playful style with a powerful message, turning the packaging into a tool for awareness and action.

Lid design

The inside of each pint lid features bold, disruptive messaging like “You’re enjoying it, they’re in prison for it” alongside a QR code linking directly to The Last Prisoner Project website.

Pop up Munchie bar

Debuting at the Mile High Festival in Denver, CO, this immersive experience brought the Fully Baked Justice campaign to life with a medicated ice cream counter and a playful Munchie Bar featuring toppings like potato chips, pretzels, and candy. Blending Ben & Jerry’s whimsical aesthetic with cannabis culture and social justice storytelling, the pop-up invited festival-goers to indulge with purpose while supporting The Last Prisoner Project.
